You’ll find on our website our “Early booking” and “Last minute” offers, but also our “Breakfast and Room” package.
These offers are only available on our website (and not on our partner websites like booking.com, hotels.com, etc.).
In brief, whatever the reason for your stay (personal or professional) and the duration of it, you will always be winner by booking directly with us.
WHAT ARE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE 4 CATEGORIES OF ROOMS ?
The Hotel de l’Atelier has 4 different categories of rooms.
The main difference between these 4 categories is the size:
⇒ CLASSIC room: between 14 and 16 sq. m (single or double),
⇒ COMFORT room: between 16 and 19 sq. m (double or twin),
⇒ SUPERIOR room: between 20 and 22 sq. m (double or twin),
⇒ CHARM room: 23 sq. m and more (double, twin or triple).
HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL WHEN ARRIVING BY TRAIN?
From the centre station : There is the bus N°5 from the centre station of Avignon.
It usually takes 10 minutes, costs 1.40 € per person, and you’ll be able to buy tickets directly in the bus.
We can also book a taxi for this, thank you to notify us as soon as possible.
From the TGV station : The taxi will be the fastest way, it costs around 20 € and takes about 15 minutes.
You might as well get a short train to reach the centre station and then get the bus N°5 (see above).
WHAT ARE THE PARKING POSSIBILITIES AT OR NEAR THE HOTEL?
We have a private and secure parking at 200 meters for 9 € per night (5 spaces available).
Please just go first at the hotel, then we will give you the map to reach the car park and the access badge.
There are also many free parking possibilities in the city, and we can also give you a map of the village to find them.
The biggest and most convenient free public parking is located at 200 m from the hotel (260 spaces), face to the tourist office (warning : parking not available on the market days, every Thursday and Saturday morning at 6 am).
HOW TO GET TO THE CENTER OF AVIGNON FROM THE HOTEL?
There are 3 possibilities:
By feet: it takes between 30 and 45 minutes.
By bus: Get the bus N°5 next to the market square / tourist office. It takes 5 minutes, costs 1.40 € per person, and you can buy tickets in the bus from the driver.
By car: It takes 5 minutes. You might park your car outside the walls, on the free and large parking (Les Italiens or Piot Island – 10 minutes walk to get the walls or get the free shuttle). Or you might prefer the toll parking, very well located inside the walls (L’Oratoire or Le Palais des Papes).
DO YOU HAVE A RESTAURANT IN THE HOTEL? IF NOT, WHAT ARE THE POSSIBILITIES FOR EATING NEARBY?
We do not have a restaurant in the hotel, however we can advise you several good restaurants nearby (accessible by foot) such as le Bistrot du Moulin, l’Aubergine, La Salamandre, La Cave Saint Marc, Naturabsolu, l’Olivier rouge, les Jardins de la Livrée, la Petite Cuillère and others.
We will advise you the restaurant most appropriate with your expectations and your desires.
We also offer a bar service in the hotel, where you can enjoy wines, organic beers, appetizers, juices, sodas and waters.
WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF LATE ARRIVAL?
Our reception service is provided until 9 pm, when we close the main access to the property.
Late arrivals are welcome: if you wish to arrive later, please contact us so we can provide you with the necessary information.
WHAT ARE THE ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES?
The arrival time is officially from 3 pm and departure at 12 am.
However, you can come and leave your baggage at any time, and for departure, if you need a late check-out, this is most of the time possible, depending on the occupancy of the hotel.
Do not hesitate to ask us, we will do our best to make it possible.
DO YOU ACCEPT ANIMALS?
Yes we accept them with a supplement of 7 € per night.
DO YOU HAVE A LIFT?
We do not have a lift in the hotel, however we will be happy to help you with your luggage as far as possible.
For information, the hotel is on 2 floors.
We also have 3 rooms on the ground floor (1 COMFORT room, 1 SUPERIOR room and 1 CHARM room), so if you need a room on the ground floor, please let us know in your booking information.
